This volume collects all 12 issues of the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck story and the next volume will contain side stories that aren't in this book.

For a Disney comic book, this was really well done. This is top notch art and writing for a comic book about a duck. People talk about Watchmen and Sandman all the time, this comic book should be up there with them. Not only is the story really well done, their was clearly a lot of work that went behind the scenes to pull this off. Don Rosa wanted fans of Barks to have a good comic book and he delivered a masterpiece, I think.

I've been watching the new DuckTales show and this came out right after the season ended before a break, so it was good timing. A lot of the stories from the new show and the 80s show came from Carl Barks and Don Rosa. This comic book will make you be thankful that Rosa drew a family tree. I think this edition could have included that, but you can find it on the internet. There so much family history you kind of have to keep track with at least in this book.

I should say I've been waiting to find this for years. Never could because it seemed like it was out of print. Maybe a good thing I waited because this was big enough to see the art and it was reprinted and presented nicely too.… (meer)
