Summary: These poems were each about a man who had different interests in many "gross" subjects. Each poem was very strange and were considered "vile".

Personal reflection: These poems are fun, and would be especially enjoyed by younger students.

Class use: This could help illustrate to students that poems are fun and can be fun!

What a quirky little book! The poems and accompanying illustrations are silly and fun. I'm glad I ran across this book!

Z said that he finds vile poems wonderful and Halloween-ie. This was funny, but not quite on the par with some of his other favorites.

The artwork is mediocre at best, but the tales are quite amusing. Recommended for any child who bears a less than sick sense of humour.… (meer)
