Bob's normal day at school turns disastrous when a talking alien hot dog shows up saying he is here to save the day... and then the evil alien Pizza Face starts turning all the students into pizza slices! This is a simply told story with lots of illustrations that look like they are from a Nickelodeon cartoon. The thought seems to be that disgusting is funny. There is lots and lots of disgusting, but not much of it is actually funny. There is also no explanation of where the evil alien came from, and one of the major plot points is unexplained... and the book ends with a "to be continued" when they are going to ask why. There are some who will find all of this oozing and eating and barfing funny, but my guess is that it is an immature minority.… (meer)
