Lady Constance Charlotte Elisa Lennox Russell (1832–1925)

Lady Constance was a granddaughter of the 4th Duke and Duchess of Richmond. In 1867, she married George Russell, later 3rd baronet of Swallowfield. She wrote about and collected pastel paintings and drawings representing members of her famous family, the Lennox-Gordons, who descended from King Charles II of England and his French concubine, Louise de Kéroualle. She and her husband and his family were close friends of Wilkie Collins.
