Any kid (or adult) that likes spaghetti will want to read this book! Eddie makes this food so much fun. The rhymes are catchy and the story is entertaining. A book that will be asked for over and over again. I have students in my 5th grade class who tell me this is still their favorite book. Read this excellent picture book and you will see what kind of an adventure Eddie is really on. Look closely at the pictures and you will notice another story playing out. :) You don't want to miss this one!
I like this book for younger children because it shows kids how to be helpful. It also shows that if you help someone, they could help you later on in your life. And its a fun way Eddie is being helpful by using his spaghetti.
Spaghetti Eddie loves spaghetti! He eats it everyday. His mother is throwing his father a surprise party and Eddie is responsible for getting the chocolate icing for the cake. On his way to the grocery, many people stop him with their problems. Eddie is very kind and helpful. He helps everyone with his spaghetti and even stops a robber with a meatball. At his father's surprise party everyone he helped is there telling the stories about Eddie helping them. The celebrate the father, but Eddie too! This book is an easy read and very fun. This shows children that helping others is rewarding and beneficial to everyone. Spaghetti Eddie selflessly gives up his favorite food to help people in need- friends or strangers. Hopefully, children take away the great lesson of small acts of kindness.… (meer)
This was an adorable book about a boy named Eddie who loved spaghetti. Eddy loved the food so much that he caried it around with him everywhere he went. On his journey to the store, Eddie comes across many people with problems. His solution to every problem was to use the spaghettt. Even though the people think it's silly to use food to fix things, they use it anyway. At the end of the story, Eddie is happy to see that his spaghetti solved many problems. I would use this book in my classroom becuase it is silly, fun, and you could ask questions about what Eddie will do with his spaghetti next.… (meer)
