- Jennifer Saunders is most acclaimed for her work with comedy partner Dawn French, although American audiences probably know her best from the British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous. She and French both came from Royal Air Force families. They met at the Central School of Speech and Drama and shared an apartment. They began doing comedy routines as a school project. Saunders also has guest starred in American TV shows and worked in major films, including voicing some parts in animated films.

Bonkers: My Life in Laughs door Jennifer Saunders
Hilarious book. Though one should note that listening this in public places may cause people to stare at you weirdly because you are laughing too hard.
I'm just sitting at my desk crying at work. What a lovely story, and Richard Armitage does it again. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite audiobook narrators. While the story probably would've been around 4 stars, the Cornish setting and Armitage's narration makes 5 stars for me.
Delightful, funny autobiography. Her father believed you should take your work seriously, but never yourself, and he obviously instilled this in his daughter. This was a fascinating read, and one of those rare books that I didn’t want to come to the end. Jen’s take on speaking lines in a French film had me weeping with laughter.
She comes across as a very sane, calm, optimistic woman who enjoys sweeping her patio and is forever attuned to appreciating the absurdities in life. If she ever falls out with Dawn French & Joanna Lumley I would like to apply for position as new best friend. I’m well qualified, I remember Mr Pastry and would enjoy playing with remote control curtain openers.… (meer)
