Marty Sederman

This story is told in the rhythm and spirit of the well known baseball story "Casey at the Bat". In this case, the sport is hockey but the situation is similar. "The outlook wasn't hopeful for the Rocket team that day, the score was three to two with just a minute left to play" the story begins.

The vivid illustrations capture the action perfectly and any hockey fan will love it! The hockey phrases are true to form and it is obvious the book was written by a hockey fan. It turns out that Sederman became a hockey mom first and now plays hockey herself!

It is perfect to read aloud, like "Casey at the Bat" and a CD would have been a wonderful addition. Even without the CD, I highly recommend it to all hockey fans & players!… (meer)
