It follows with Hakeem's move to Americaand the beginnings of his career as a basketball player at the University of Houston. The book shares Hakeem's career highs and lows, from Phi Slama Jama and losing the NCAA tournaments to playing for the Rockets and winning two NBA championships. There is also a glossary and index at the end of the book to help young students understand terms as well as Hakeem Olajuwon's address for anyone who wants to contact him.

I think I loved this book because I am from Houston and remember cheering for Hakeem Olajuwon at Rockets games with my family. However, I think with a few more pictures and interesting details about Hakeem's early life, the book would be greatly improved.… (meer)
