I love this book for what it is, and when I want to look up a particular saint I start here. This book is written in a daily devotional format - a saint (or two) for each day of the year. Each saint's story is followed by a reflection and most of the pages have pen and ink drawings of the saints in some scene from their lives. The language is pious and a bit complex.
