Charles Williams door Mary McDermott Shideler
This is a brief balanced study of Charles Williams, recognizing the very varied opinions of his work held by many distiguished sriters and critics, some very positive (C.S. Lewis) some very otherwise (F.R. Leavis).
Short. Each essay or anecdote is short, and there are lots of wonderful photos. Not linear, no sense of quest, no real depth - but lots of interesting observations and plenty of humor. At the end there is a nice personal note about the metaphor of being two people in one body, Mary Shideler and the Kayak Lady - that was probably my favorite part of the book.
