She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska & received her BA from Stanford & her MA from the University of Wisconsin. She has taught learning-disabled children in Wisconsin & Alaska. Marcia spent several years living on her boat in the harbor of a small fishing village in southeast Alaska, teaching at the toon meer public school & accumulating the stories of the fishermen & their families. OK as murder mysteries go, but do the characters really have to repeat twice each action in their dialogs?
