Barbara Burnett Smith (–2005)

This book was ok. It was fascinating to read about the 90s, when computers were a NEW thing. The MC was a little irritating about family drama what wasn't fleshed out and even the storyline with the Ex lover was just meh.

This was just a fun quick read. It made me want to be a beader for sure. It introduces Kitzi Camden who joins her friend Beth at Camp Green Clover for some peaceful crafting only to find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation. Unfortunately do to the untimely death of Barbara Burnett Smith there will only be one more Kitzi book which saddens me greatly.

More than just a mystery, it's about a community of people and their relationships. There is the conflict of mother and daughter, misconceptions about people and then the mystery thrown in. I really enjoyed it.

This book was a very light read. The camp setting brought back memories of my own camp days, and I learned a little bit more about beading, which I'd love to be able to do sometime.
