Um, no. To get to the funny bits, I had to read *descriptions* of (mostly) New Yorker cartoons. Everything is reported; almost nothing is presented directly. I expected an anthology - this is just page after page of what the author researched.

I'd give it one star, but I did find mention of a 'bone folder' and, once I looked online and discovered what it is, I decided it's a tool I've wanted all my life. So, thanks to her for that information.
