Interesting treatise on the 1853 Enfield musket that was used in the British Empire from the Crimean War to the Indian Mutiny, and then in the American Civil War. Recommended for those with an interest in 19th century military tactics, military technology, the Crimean War, the American Civil War and the Indian Mutiny. Anyone who owns an original Enfield musket, or a reproduction used in reenactments, will appreciate this book.… (meer)
