I really enjoyed this book for 2 reasons. Cat and mouse is a classic game and this story really exudes the playfulness of the relationship between the 2 main characters. The author was able to re-imagine this into a new tale which is intriguing and delightful. I also really loved the illustrations. The black and white with minimal color really allow the reader to focus on the cat and the mouse and their relationship. I think this is a really cute story and the illustrations set the apprehensive mood throughout the book. The main idea is that you don't know if you can be friends with someone until you try.… (meer)
