A late incarnation of the gospel group sings Christian R&B (Jewel Records, 1973).

A lot of these tracks, they just take the sound of a popular artist of the time, but make it about Jesus - which is kind of sad, especially considering that most of the original artists were not shy about singing about Jesus in the first place. But they can sing, and the band can play. And in one or two instances, like when they imitate The Band's "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" (changed to "The Year King Uzziah Died), they're better than the original.
