Primarily it is a guide for husbands but the only real advice it gives is to only have sexual congress when their wives are most receptive, which is about two weeks after commencement of menstruation. This is practical advice as such but would lead to large families as this is the time of greatest fertility ... which it doesn't mention in the book.
There is no mention of foreplay or even advice on the mechanics of the sexual act. It may have been a ground-breaking book for its time but leaves a lot to be desired. [sorry for the pun].… (meer)
