I loved this book. Of course, I found the subject matter intensely interesting and that helped. The girl who sat next to me in lecture hated the book and the class, but she was rather cow-eyed over the prof and didn't take notes.

This book is well arranged, the illustrations were almost all relevant, rather than just there. I liked the way the chapter summary was a bullet point list rather than in paragraph form and that the key words were simply listed, rather than defined. The best part was the "Eye on the Landscape" feature.… (meer)
