J. S. Strange

So, this wasn't my favorite, but I liked it enough to try the second and see if I like the rest of the series better. Sometimes a series gets off to a rocky start (no pun intended.) I will say that the premise of the book was great. I loved the writing group murder plot as it reminded me of Agatha Christie novels. Some of the details, though, didn't add up. I was a little unsure of the PI working so close with the police. It almost seemed as if they hadn't the entire investigation over to him which seemed a little unrealistic. I look forward to see how the style evolves in the next book, but this may not be a lasting series for me.… (meer)
