Christian Voodoo is one of the most interesting books I have read. It is a guide to luck, omens, recipes for homemade miracles, and exorcism. Caught your attention now, didn't I? I was reading about butterflies even in Egyptian times, butterflies were seen as human souls. In Christian lore, they are thought to be souls awaiting entry into purgatory. Others believe that they are the souls of unbaptized children.

Also pillows and doves, a down pillow stuffed with the feathers of pure white doves prevents death. Their plumage repels the Angel of Death. I hope I am not sill but I order myself a new pillow after reading this page.

It is well written with many pictures. A must to read if you like interesting books like this one. I was given this book from Schiffer Plublishers www.schifferbooks.com .

I saw blurbs about this book on Youtube and it looked quirky so I knew I had to look at it. Unfortunately, my library network doesn't own it, which is surprising but I managed to get a copy from Miami Dade College via Interlibrary Loan. If nothing else this book is a conversation piece. I got it with intentions of laughing a lot, sharing it with friends and being amused that someone would even think of making an origami book on this.

I have to say it was worth getting when my co-workers, ladies old enough to be my mother, perused this and all got some big laughs. If you put aside the subject matter you have a book with some easy to follow, and authoritative, origami techniques. The adult theme does titillate while beneath the surface the book is educational.

I really enjoyed it and really enjoyed laughing with it. I blushed quite a bit but it is rather funny. I doubt I'll actually make any of the things in the book and I certainly won't be leaving any tips in the shapes that Master Sugoi teaches. But, I am glad I thumbed through this.
