Korte biografie: Marc Sumerak (born 1978) is a freelance comic book writer from Cleveland, Ohio.

Mr. Sumerak is currently best known for his work on Marvel Comics' all-ages Power Pack series (of which he has written five consecutive 4-issue limited series), as well as the Eisner Award & Harvey Award nominated Franklin Richards: Son of a Genius (with co-writer Chris Eliopoulos). He is also currently providing the English translations for Spider-Man J (featured in the bi-monthly Spider-Man Family series).

Mr. Sumerak's body of writing work also includes Guardians, Marvel Age: Fantastic Four, Machine Teen, Ororo: Before the Storm and more. His first published work as a writer was the Avengers Casebook 1999.

Before he became a freelance writer, Mr. Sumerak worked as an editor at Marvel Comics. His credits include work on Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Thunderbolts, Hulk, Sentinel, Agent X and many more. He was a member of the Marvel editorial team from 1999-2003, working alongside editor Tom Brevoort.

Marc has stated that one of his main influences was the time he spent working as a costumed character at Sea World in Aurora, Ohio

Hidden Universe Travel Guides: The Complete Marvel… door Marc Sumerak

First and foremost, while I understand galley/previews are pre-release, but I usually expect to be getting a product that is complete so I can place my reviews correct to the finalized product when I'm reviewing on other sights. This galley has a number of pages where I'm positive pictures and writing are supposed to end up, but instead there are glaring white squares and empty lined paper, which took apart from reading and enjoying this piece for me, sadly.

Once I got into it, I really enjoyed this text (and I gotta give a shout out to my favorite space race, the Shi'ar, getting early placement in this text). I was amused at the character comments after most entries, because it made you feel more like you were either there with characters commenting to your side, or reading a text someone else had used before you and left notes for later readers.… (meer)

Funny and informative. In line with the humor of the Guardians of the Galaxy. A must read for a detailed background of the Marvel Cosmos. Thanks to NetGalley for providing a copy in exchange for my honest review.

The Art of Harry Potter door Titan Books

It's almost impossible to top the comprehensiveness of Harry Potter From Page to Screen due to sheer volume and effort, but I still appreciated this collection of artwork from the Harry Potter films. The author collects scene art, architectural sketches, computer generated imagery, and character designs into a lovely compilation which explores each section of design work. Unfortunately we have seen some of the content elsewhere (case and point being the wand collection book) and in more depth, but it's still quite useful to have everything more or less compiled into one volume.… (meer)
