A range of (now somewhat dated) stories of cricket outside its traditional heartlands, including the story of the two Frenchmen who fondness for the game far outweighed their skill, as well as dispatches from Japan and Russia (where Soviet authorities couldn't make head nor tails of this strange sport). Unfortunately, the authors fall into the annoying trap of presuming everyone can speak French fluently and so give the punchline to a cricket story in French.
