Growing Old-Fashioned Roses (Cassell Good Gardening… door Barbara Lea Taylor
I have a lot of rose garden books and this is one of my top 10. What I enjoy most about it is the unabashed passion Taylor expresses for her favorite roses. Many garden writers seem to restrain themselves in this regard. I've added some of the roses she loves to my own garden and been immensely pleased with them. There are also some superlative photos too; Mme Ernst Calvat and Mme Lauriol de Barny come especially to mind.
