Blood Ties is a chilling glimpse into an all too possible future. I think we can all agree that the world is in a state of flux and the political climate is somewhat volatile at the moment. Ritchie kicks off the book drawing you in immediately like you were listening to a story from a friend. Each character has a unique voice and personality, and Taylor-Gooby has done a wonderful job of bringing them to life. I feel like I could bump into any of them at the local coffee shop (if we weren't mid-pandemic). From page one you'll be drawn into a world of political intrigue, human rights, and family bonds that are tested by the circumstances Ritchie is forced into. Cannot recommend this book enough!… (meer)
