A book title may intrigue you, so one purchases (or in my case requests) the book with the intent to read it immediately. Occasionally, you wait to read for a bit because something comes into your life, and you need to live in the book to glean its truths.

This was my experience with the Cast your cares 30-day challenge. As the author shares, this work requires a commitment to Trust God and learn through spiritual disciplines to live a more diligently mature relationship where you replace stress and worry with Godly responses to living because of a deeper relationship with God.

The author clearly breaks down how to cast your care on God and understand the biblical scriptures behind it. The author prayerfully walks you through a biblical process to build your faith. When you are walking through something in your life, this is the kind of companion you need, one that will instruct you as you apply the process to that you are living simultaneously.

I liked the encouraging spiritual truths from the Bible, showing God to be a trustworthy, gentle compassionate, instructor because the life lessons are overwhelming for us – not God. The writer challenges the reader to face the fear of Loving God, Trusting God completely in the casting of cares. She reminds us, “Love and Trust go together".

This book is an encouragement for those who experience the paradox of walking by faith while holding on to care and concern. This 30-day challenge ends with hope.… (meer)

This book was a definite blessing to me! After days that were long and difficult to get through, reading My God in Whom I Trust brought peace and comfort. This Bible study breaks Psalm 91 down verse by verse and section by section, giving the reader many beautiful insights, musings, and encouragement. The author includes many passages of Scripture throughout as references and cross references, and I was definitely impressed by how she answered questions I had throughout.

Overall, this is a read I would definitely recommend. This study brought me closer to the Lord (especially the last few pages!), and I feel blessed to have had a chance to read it.
