I love the concept of freezer cooking, but I have yet to find a book that has good recipes. These are the recipes I tried from the book:

Cheesy Chilada Bake. I would never make this recipe again. It was very dry and had little flavor. It was barely edible with lots of taco sauce poured on top.

Garlic-Studded Pork Loin. This just had a really strange flavor. We love pork and garlic and were surprised this didn't taste good.

Black Bean and Vegetable Chili. I have been married over 30 years, and this is only the second time in all these years that I literally threw out the food to the animals. I thought I was going to vomit. It tasted that bad, and I'm not at all a picky eater. My husband was the first to suggest throwing the food away--ANATHEMA at our house! It was THAT bad. I tried everything to doctor it up, and I tried adding shredded cheddar cheese to no avail. It was horrible!

Royal Thai Thighs. This tasted good, but only when we grilled it in our Weber cooker. However, it is not a recipe that I am saving because I have so many others that are much better.… (meer)
