To his un-ending credit and courage, Doctor Turner recognized that many scientists and religionists alike shared the same problem: a confounding chaos in the quantal realm. He challenges orthodoxy with an erudition and flair that can make saints jealous and scientists inspired.
Dean Turner attacks the orthodoxies of rationalism, and the quackery, misology and misoneism of historical Christian apologetics. He replaces the orthodoxy with a practical epistemology based on facts. This book advances the design argument for God's existence. In religion, he asks painful questions -- such as, Why does God permit so much evil and pain? Why do we pay a high price for life? Does God care?
In education, Turner demonstrates the need to bring the concept of Caring back into the classroom. He stands for discovery, because he and God "Care".
In science, Care presents fact-based justifications for using Care to bring new ideas into philosophy and science. For example, he attacks Einstein and relativity theory. [301 ff]. Seeks to reinstitute the Absolute Space and Time theory of Newton and his "successor", Herbert Ives. [260] Neither the criticism nor the Newtonian elevation is supportable.
