Hooray for Dover coloring books for grown-ups!

I picked this up used while on an archeology-themed road trip, and while it is fun to color, I wish it had more about actual use of color in Mayan art. Also, (as I had the opportunity to compare some of the designs in this book to the originals in a museum) the illustrations aren't always as accurate as might be desired. Though of course at least part of that is better-quality restoration work in the thirty years since this book was published.… (meer)
