An entertaining review of the search for free energy. Tutt explores zero-point physics (and various methods of stressing the space-time continuum) and cold fusion chemistry (discredited but not disproven) and uncovers the stories of a number of eccentric near-geniuses. Probably nowhere else will you find glow plasma, diagrams of Plattenspules and Flachspules, sonoluminescence and Sparky Sweet’s Vacuum Triode Amplifier all in one place.

Great story about some foxes who decided to explore a human home. The leader of the foxes decides to find the family's cat through out the house creating havoc along the way. In the end, the foxes decide they like the outside better. This book is nice for all ages and families.

Keith Tutt brings us inventors, religious communes, hucksters and more in a balanced look at what many consider to be fringe science. He has a dry sense of humour that comes through at just the right times, leaving me pondering "what if..." long after I'd finished the book.… (meer)
