Utterly ridiculous book.

If an author writes about a computer expert, you would think she would have done at least a little bit of research. Well, maybe she did, but then she came up with facts from approx. 15-20 years ago... I'm a typical average computer user and soon was laughing - not in a good way.

To give just one example: Picture a large investment firm, where billions of dollars are handled and computers are all important. And nobody, not even the firm's own computer specialists, have ever heard of computer viruses. In 2001. Yeah, right!

The characters themselves behave just as stupid. She doesn't want anything to do with him because he has a new girl every week. Early in the book the author completely takes away that reason for not liking him. She accepts that reason... and virtually minutes later she is back to not wanting him because he has a new girl every week... From then on I skimmed through it, mainly in search of more idiotic computer facts.

I recommend you throw this book in the bin when you come across it.… (meer)

This story is about Micheal,Angela and her daughter Emma.
Micheal is an undercover cop in Chicago who's just been said to be a hero in the papers after saving a toddler. He is sent on vacation for a month to ensure his safety.
On his way to the Inn he has been in a car accident during the blizzard shows up at the Inn hurt and bleeding Angela takes care of him. He tells her about his family and that he is on vacation to try to become a writer .. as he has his notes and is trying to write his first book .. he not only falls in love with Angela but also with her 6 yr old daughter who is full of questions.
When she find out he is a cop and feels he lied to her she wants him to leave he does and shows back up on Christmas Eve and asks her to marry him after explaining that he was trying to keep them all safe by keeping the secret that he was a cop which he has resigned from and is the author of the book he wrote while there .… (meer)
