What starts out as a wager between friends quickly transforms a known rake into a romantic, as he falls in love with his quarry. Add to the mix a subplot of intrigue in the guise of blackmail and set it during the Regency period at Christmas time and you have a delightfully entertaining work of historical fiction and holiday reading.

I'm not usually a big romance reader, but during Christmas I make an exception. And a historical romance is always a nice addition to my holiday reading. So when I was offered this book for review, I quickly accepted. I'm glad I did. This is my first time reading this author and I was pleased to discover that she really knows the time period. She also knows just how to capture the holiday season during the Regency period.

I recommend this novella as a wonderful work of historical fiction and delightful read for the holidays.… (meer)

Rogue’s Holiday (Agents of the Crown Book 5) by Regan Walker is an awesome Regency Romance set in the 1800's, in Lodon, and Brighton. While, book 5 of the "Agents of the Crown", it can be read as a stand alone. However, I would recommend reading this entire series, but, it is not necessary to enjoy ROGUE'S HOLIDAY.

Powell, who is a spy for the Crown. He saves the Cabinet ministers from a horrible death, which wins him high praise from King George IV. Miss Chastity Reynolds, is a shoemaker's daughter, a designer of shoes, herself, for her friends and family, plus she is considered a hoyden. She's also feisty and a determined young lady, who seems not to be affected by Robbie's charm. Such a delicious love story!

Ms. Walker's, knowledge of historical facts is weaved through out this intriguing, adventurous, captivating and compelling story.
Robbie, his uncle, Chastity, and her friend, Rose, are entangled in a conspiracy for revenge. They are faced with danger, challenges and so much more. I was enchanted and captivated from the first page to the last. The reader can not help but lose their heart to this cast of characters.
Once again, Ms Walker, has given her readers yet, another fast paced, intriguing and beautiful love story, with twists and turns, and a surprises. I believe this is the final book in the AGENTS OF THE CROWN saga.
I would absolutely recommend reading ROGUE'S HOLIDAY! Fans of Regency Romance, adventure, spies, Historical facts, will not wish to miss this brilliantly written love story. Absolutely thrilling⚘

Follow, Finlay Grant, the bard of the MacGregor clan, a born charmer, and much more. Leslie Harrison, the lass Finlay has loved from afar but she has been betrothed to another. A man who is not a nice man. Well written with charming characters, and a great storyline. Another must read by the talented Paula Quinn.

A Knight's Redemption by Catherine Kean is another compelling story in this collection.
Lady Mary Westbrook, as spent six Christmas licked away in Lord Holden Kendall's dungeon, for refusing to kiss him. Holden was a squire at Branton Keep. Now a grown warrior, Holden has vowed to make things right with Mary and not only win a kiss but win her heart, as well. Ms. Kean will definitely snag your heart but, also win your devotion. Christmas in Camelot by Brenda Jernigan is a heartwarming story.
Sir Nicholas, is with the order of the Dragon and must obey his order's to bring Lady Noelle safely to Camelot to wed Sir Gavin. All four of these Christmas stories are novellas, but the authors managed to complete each story to satisfying and enjoyable reads. The magic of Christmas is definitely in bloom in these stories. I highly recommend this amazing, and heartwarming Christmas stories. I enjoyed all four of this collection, the characters and the storylines, will take you back to an era with highlander, lasses, ladies, knights, were chivalry and magic, lightens your heart. A must read!
