First I will cover the narration. Victoria McGloven does a fine job narrating. Narrating erotic literate always the risk of coming off as silly or creepy. Ms. McGloven deftly threads the needle in this outing.

The short story as a whole was a nice little candy bar. If you need a fun little fix, it's what you want. The author threads the needle...or the rope....I'm sorry, I'll go stand in the corner.

There is a risk with the bdsm genre where in the process of describing what is happening the reader can get bogged down or bored in just how verbose the writer gets in proving how elaborate they can make a scene. This is not the case with this short story. The writing is clear and sufficient giving the reader a clear and vibrate picture without going on and on.
