The Hereafter is under new management, and with budget cuts and layoffs. With all the changes there’s bound to be mistakes, right?

The Book of the Not-Dead-Enough: Admin Errors is a series of short stories about people who died but continued… uh… moving (?) around on Earth. Some of the stories focus on the NDEs (not-dead-enoughs) themselves, others focus on the more problematic situations that arise after the dead start not… staying dead- such as the dead trying to collect their own insurance or the matter if a couple is still married since, you know, that “until death do us part” bit in the wedding vows. Go figure.

There’s really a lot of witty commentary and thoughtful insights (mostly comparing the NDEs to other political and social “taboos” of society).

Overall, The Book of the Not-Dead-Enough:Admin Errors is a lovely work that will be sure to give you the giggles.
