The Perfect Pie: A Handbook for Pie Lovers by Dennis Weaver is an excellent 'how to' for pie making. In spite of a few typos, I gave it five stars.
It took me back to my high school cooking classes & the pie making basics I learned so many years ago. Those lessons have served me well. I'll admit that I don't make pies as often as I used to, but this book has encouraged me to do so again.
There are practical tips for crust making & delicious recipes included. I highly recommend it.… (meer)

It looks as if the author just took the recipes from the website and pasted it into a document because half of them do not have directions, there are website links, etc.

This is obviously a guide for those that hate cooking. It's incredibly short and overly simple. A beginner wouldn't know where to start to make the gravies, which are the only thing he really brings to the table with this book.
