The stories were too short to make an impression on me. They were not scary or creepy. They felt like summaries to a novel.

I very much enjoyed reading Weaver of Darkness. It started right away which had me almost confused but I fell into it easily and the face pace kept me thoroughly hooked. The plot never seemed to drag or get boring. There was enough mystery to keep you interested but not so much you didn't know what was going on. There was the typical love triangle, but I can get around that because of the rare strong emphasis on teamwork and friendship.
I loved the characters, the plot twists. I love how there was so much foreshadowing but I just didn't get it until it was too late.

This story was super short but quite interesting all the same. Without giving too much away, I'll just say that it includes a frightening twist on what Santa's punishment is for all the bad girls and boys - they don't receive a lump of coal... It would've been interesting to know a little more about the secret and especially what...well...nevermind...I don't want to give too much away...

Have you any idea what Santa would do if there was a shortage of elves? What if there was a shortage of elves, close to the Christmas deadline? This story answers such a hypothetical. It's the story of a boy who finds out first-hand when Santa's gotta do what Santa's gotta do.
Written with an air of mystery, this short is sure to please- especially the ending. I honestly wished there was more. I guess I'll have to see what else Ms. Webb has to offer!
