Good abridgement of the book that can interest young people to classic fiction. My son enjoyed it with me.

"The Forgetful Bears" is a story about a family that has some trouble with their memory. It starts out with Mrs. Forgetful wanting to go on a picnic, and the children decide to make lemonade for it but soon forget they are going on a picnic and drink it themselves. Mr. Forgetful decides he wants to wake up Grandpa Forgetful but loses his way to Grandpa's room and locks himself in the closet. A lot more fun and eventful things happen to the Forgetful Bears as they try to go on their picnic. Eventually Grandpa Forgetful is able to help them all to a picnic that he thought of. The story ends with saying the picnic was the one thing they would never forget. It's a cute and funny story that brought a smile to my face as a reread it, especially coming from someone with such a bad memory. It's great for a silly story to entertain children because it can be made into a guessing game, such as "what do you thing Mrs. Forgetful will forget about now?".… (meer)
