Really loved this book. Not only does it have good space action, but it really delivers on important social issues. Its not often that science fiction inserts meaningful social issues. Usually science fiction works deal with the ramification of potential science principles only. The author brings in alternative family styles, the ramifications of copyright & contract on the ownership of critical human needs and the effect of media upon society. Very thought provoking work wrapped in the guise of all the good science fiction tools.… (meer)

The Versari are an ancient civilization and when Evan McElroy discovers an artifact that belonged to them listing all the known destination of glomes (connection between two points in space) his life becomes endangered. Evan flees from his current employer, the Affirmatix, with the artifact in hopes to make the information available to many so that the Affirmatix will not become a powerhouse due to this knowledge. The Affirmatix is one of the seven sisters a group of seven families that own most of the commerce and all the power. The Affirmatix are determined to keep this information a secret and not only do they hunt down and find Evan but are determined to destroy an entire planet to keep this information a secret. The story was well thought out but a bit unbelievable at times for instance in the cave where Evan and his colleagues are trying to escape and the Affirmatix detonate an atomic bomb on top and they survive Towards the end of the story the inserts of what people were doing with their last minutes was out of place and the entire set up at the end seemed to drag on. The book is part one and I think it is worth looking into part two to see where it leads from here.… (meer)

One simple action, taken because someone couldn't sleep, leads to the likely destruction of an entire planet. The people in power create their own "True Story" but the infoterrorists have a different idea. Interesting characters, terrain and plot. Recommended

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed the book with the intricate background giving a realistic view of this sci fi thriller. The writer takes you through twists and turns as a fight for growth through freedom of access to real information. The characters are well developed as the writer introduces you to the main characters and how they came to be involved in the change from what is termed "True Story" to the real deal sharing of what really happened. Well developed for a multiple book series.… (meer)
