Whiffenpoofs

How can anyone not like the Whiffenpoofs?
Yale's premier a cappella men's ensemble performs outstanding arrangements. Perennial favorites are on this disk, along with a collection of newer releases (* marks those debuted this year).
Most of those I did not know, but enjoyed listening to them anyway. FWIW, I don't remember hearing any of them at the concerts I attended in 2018 & 2019, but I could just have forgotten last year's program.

NOTE: "The Boxer" here uses Paul Simon's original lyrics, which in some concert venues are replaced by "the girls on seventh avenue".

(NOTE: the ensemble of 2019 includes one female tenor, who has an excellent soprano range as well; we saw them in person.)… (meer)
