J. Robert Whittle

Mr. Whittle does not disappoint in his 2nd stand-alone novel co-authored with his wife, Joyce Sandilands. This rousing adventure tale begins in Yorkshire, England with one of the main characters receiving a coded diary and other papers as part of an inheritance. Deciding to try decode and research the information received, she involves her son and his girlfriend (from British Columbia, Canada). What follows begins a delightful romp through Southern England, Isle of Wight and then Spain and Portugal picking up additional characters (and this word is chosen carefully!) along the way.

Alerting the Spanish government of their search for a Spanish treasure ship lost off the west coast of Canada for 200 years, Spanish officials join the search and the fun begins.

As with all of Whittle's books, this novel is suitable for any age reader.… (meer)
