Incredibly detailed, non-biased first hand account. Can get tedious at times. Not sensationalized at all.

This is an eyeopening account of how Vatican II was hijacked. It's intriguing.

4010. The Rhine Flows into the Tiber: A History of Vatican II, by Rev. Ralph M. Wiltgen, S.V.D. (read 15 Apr 2005) This is a 1967 book, a pretty straightforward narrative, and nonjudgmental. I have not read much on the Council since the 1960s and this was a good refresher on that important event, when the present Pope was classed with the "progressives" who had considerable success there.
