A.R. Wise

This book was much too sickeningly, uselessly violent, and the ending made me furious. I kept thinking to myself, "There is no way people would react that horrifyingly. That's way over the top." There were several parts I had to skip because it was so disturbing.

A Ghost/Horror story. Which I seldom read, so the fact that I stuck with it to finish it surprised me. There is some blood & gore, in case that influences your decision to read or not.
It is the beginning of a series, in case that affects your decision to read or not...

Man at work when zombies start appearing. Works his way home. Over bldgs, water, up on beach, help from father & son whose beach he washes up on.

Gets his fam back to beach. Old man dies buying time for boat to start. Need more time...

Author writes well but it is a tired story.

Earns a Cockadoodie for the MC/narrator dying but the story continues.

Reading this book was like watching a horror version of the movie "Groundhog's Day". There was no plot that took you from point A to point B, instead it was round and round you go like being on a merry-go-round and just like that merry-go-round the book never went anywhere.
Good thing about the book is that there were very few grammatical errors.
