Love the idea of a female lead in an American Tall Tale!
But, *for me,* that's about the only appeal this tale has. ?áI wouldn't be surprised if others love it more, though.

This is a story about this girl name Annie and her adventure about catching this gigantic catfish.
I really liked the illustration in the book, there were over exaggeration drawings and vivid coloring.
This is a good read for 2nd to 4th grade students.

This book is about a girl named, Annie, who is out to catch the biggest catfish there is, Ernie. This book has great illustrations and an entertaining storyline and could be used as a way to introduce "fish tales". This book is suitable for the grades 1 and 2 and the theme could be exaggeration.

There was a cat fish that was causing problems so steamboat Annie was determined to catch him and get rid of hime and she did. I like this book it shows how to set goals. i would use this in my classroom grades 3-4.
