Marilee Zdenek

The book describes the analytic vs the imaginative functions (sides) of the brain. I am definitely over analytical. It has helped me to be more creative in my thinking.

I very much enjoyed this book of poetry by Marilee Zdenek. She opens up from special childhood experiences through adult life. Experiences that are very personal and intimate she makes available to the reader in a way that sparks deep thought and reflection. Mixed in with her beutiful poetry are photographs that reflect the same spirit of her words. I feel sad that I just discovered this book since it's almost 30 yrs old. However, I will start looking for other words by this wonderful poet.
