I live in Ohio, so I am definitely the target audience for this book. I thought it was sad, though, that apparently the authors have found almost nothing to visit of note within a 50-mile radius of our home. We live in Southeastern Ohio, near Zanesville and Lancaster, both of which barely get a mention. I think sometimes it would be a little easier to have "fun with the family", if the authors strayed from the large city area off the beaten path a little. We all know that there are tons of things to do in Cincinnati and Cleveland. Isn't the point of reading a book like this to find things to do more 'in your own backyard'? Both Fodor's Where to Weekend Around Ohio and Kids Love Ohio are much stronger books, and more in tune with this goal.… (meer)
