- : Despite the title, it isn't science fiction. It's basically a romance novel. The guy just happens to periodically and uncontrollably disappear into another timeline. He also goes through great physical pain and suffering while the story stays centered on Clare's emotional drama to have a relationship with a time traveler. Poooor thing.
