The title is very pertinent (The Forgotten Skill) because more and more people are using less and less to write by hand. As we use the computer to write, things get easier in regards spell check and other things, but on the other hand we lose so many benefits that we will talk about in this book. You will not believe how important the Calligraphy skills is, also it is fair to say that writing by hand can be very pleasurable.

By reading this book you will get to know the wonders of Calligraphy, its history and a few other curiosities. Perhaps you will find out the only thing preventing you to try and improve your calligraphy is that you did not know how easy and inexpensive it can be.
