When Dag Redwing Hickory rescued Fawn Bluefield from a vicious malice attack, neither expected to fall in love. Nor did they plan on cementing their feelings in marriage, collecting a motley band of followers, or traveling down the river to the sea, saving each other from dangers both magical and human.
