But from a young age, he was cursed with a scathing cynicism, which was passed down to him from his parents and to them by their parents.

Despite Zack's successes, he is deeply resentful of the world he lives in and wants out of his "normal" life. As his cynicism grows, his harrowing plan takes shape and he is thrown to his fate. Through a thrilling journey, the reader learns how previous generations propelled Zack into the life he was destined to lead, without his knowledge or control.
