I'm a fiction fan, mostly, though looking at my bookshelf, I notice there's a goodly number of poetry books there. Poetry is fiction, isn't it? I tend to think so. So, a fiction reader, then. All kinds of fiction, though I admit I tend towards genre over literary. Give me a good mystery and I'm happy.

I can't remember not knowing how to read, though obviously there was a time. But since gaining the skill, there hasn't been a time when I wasn't reading. My reading taste are eclectic and sometimes a little odd. I do remember the first thing I wrote, a poem in the 4th Grade, followed by a play that same year. Reading and writing pretty much go hand in hand now.
