Over mijn bibliotheek
I live to read. Period. I have everything in my home library from mysteries to chick lit to vampire novels (REAL vampire novels, not sparkly fey masquerading as vampires vampire novels!) to the female-supernatural-romance genre (gotta love Kelley Armstrong!). I have nonfiction ranging from texts on Buddhist meditation to soapmaking techniques.

Being on Librarything.com is more than just a way for me to catalog my actual physical library -- it's a way for me to keep track of what I've read. See, I read so much, and so quickly, that I lose track of the books I read and, eventually, lose them from my mind. So this is a place for reviews of books I own, library books, and books I've found in ebook format :)
Over mij
It's always been hard to define myself without adding "avid reader" into the description. I honestly can't remember a time when I couldn't read. In fact, I was quite the little troublemaker in kindergarten, because instead of learning my ABCs (child's play, since I could already read at a 6th grade level), I would walk around and help everyone else.

Fast forward 20 years, and you'll find me holding a certificate indicating that helping people read and understand literature is now my true profession -- yep, another high school English teacher!

Other facts about me: I'm married to a man who loves reading just a little less than me -- and loves video games just a little more :)
